Introduction

The SystemDevice management system has three main components:

• Backend: sends dm commands and analyses the responses

• Targets: objects to be managed. Objects may contain several resources that are managed

• Gateways: relay messages between internet and mesh networks. Gateways also contain device management targets.

Logically, managed systems comprised of instances of various objects. Each object has a specific set of resources that can be either read, written or executed.
