Creating Groups

You can create new Groups at the top level or at any point within the hierarchical tree structure. This flexibility allows you to organize devices according to your operational needs, whether by site, department, or function.

Accessing the Groups management app

1. Log in to your Treon Connect account.
2. From the main menu, click the Groups app icon.

Creating new Groups

To create new Groups in your Treon Connect environment follow these steps:

1. Click the Create Groups button in the top-right corner.
2. In the pop-up window:
   • Choose a Parent Group. The first time you create a Group, this field will be empty. After creating Groups, you can choose them as Parent Group.
   • Enter a Group Name to name the Group.
   • Add a Group Description to describe the Group.
3. Click Create Group.

4. The Group has now been created successfully.
